Everyone is soft, fluffy, and inclined towards comfort at heart. A few deliberately prefer extreme and spartan living conditions. Some are inclined to ignore the disadvantages of living conditions due to natural laziness. And this trait of indifference to comfort is inherent in both bachelors and single women, and if a married couple completely ignores the order, comfort, and amenities of the place they live together, it is hardly a good sign.
“My home is my fortress!”. If in our youth we are guided by the standards that our parents instilled in us while we were raised in a family atmosphere, then as we gain experience, it is more likely that we will want to create our own personal style of living that is comfortable for you.

Colours for walls and floors
If the walls and floors in your nice little flat have a horrible, corrosive and offensive colour (the legacy of the former owners or landlords), you need to change these vestiges of the past. After all, you want comfort and a welcoming, cosy home atmosphere.
Put beautiful natural rugs on the floor, or grey living room furniture will do too. If you live in a rented flat, don’t have the finances for a major refurbishment and, buy them second hand.
To freshen the colour of the walls, they need to repaint or perekleivat wallpaper. For example, very modern look walls of the same room, different in texture and colour. Also cool and trendy is photo wallpaper, which is back in style. You can buy wallpaper on sale so you don’t have to spend a fortune.
Even if you’re planning on expanding your living space in the future, or your place is temporary, you should like the colour of your walls and floors on a daily basis.
Lighting
Ever notice how a lack of bright light affects your mood? Dull, dim light not only makes any flat look ugly, it is also bad for the eyes. Sources of light in the flat of the modern man should be a few, and at different levels.
In the living room this is an overhead light (surely bright and adjustable), side light (wall lamps, floor lamps, lamp next to the sofa for reading) and convenient mobile lamps for computer or laptop.
In the bedroom, make sure you have light sources within arm’s reach. You need recessed lights or table lamps. The bedroom is a place for two people, you need some light, then you want to dim it – intimate life makes all the difference! Of course, you also need or have a recessed overhead light.
In the kitchen, additional lighting above the worktop is desirable. Also, choose a backlit hood for the stove (an extra source of light comes in handy!) and if you order custom-designed furniture, make sure you have built-in lights in it to illuminate your kitchen worktop.
You’ll love the extra light where the dishwasher is installed, it’s convenient and practical! It’s a small price difference, and every housewife will appreciate the benefits of having an additional light source in the kitchen!
Smell good
You can’t beat the smell of your home! Every home has its own, distinctive smell. A stranger can never understand how, in the absence of distinctive scents, a person who loves his or her home can unmistakably identify his or her own, familiar territory. On a subconscious level, we always know what we like to smell. From these underlying feelings, shape the scents in your living space.
Of course, the basic scent is cleanliness. Everything else goes great with it – minty, citrus, patchouli or bergamot scents, scented candles, sticks, lamps and a variety of scents, depending on your mood.
Use all your fragrance products to create a cosy atmosphere in your flat! Laundry conditioner, air freshener, scented herbal pads on shelves for your belongings – all means are good!
